FDA announces recall of popular Ice Cream brand due to undeclared hidden ingredients
The product recall occurred because of a packaging mistake, which resulted in incorrect labeling. The recall affects Friendly’s Ice Cream Vanilla Bean flavor, which comes in specific carton sizes. The packaging mistake resulted in Vanilla Bean ice cream containers receiving Cookies & Cream ice cream, instead of their intended contents. The product labels do not show the presence of soy and wheat allergens which are major food allergens
