Trade deficit rising due to oil buy, need to address it: EAM in Russia
External Affairs Minister Jaishankar, during his Moscow visit, proposed measures to balance the $58.9 billion trade deficit caused by increased Indian oil imports from Russia. These include addressing trade barriers, improving logistics, and finalizing the India-Eurasian Economic Union FTA. Both nations aim to boost connectivity and cooperation in transport, energy, and other sectors, targeting $100 billion in trade by 2030.
