Congress MP Digvijaya Singh has questioned Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over CBSE’s decision to remove the robotic scanner requirement from its On-Screen Marking (OSM) tender before nationwide implementation for Class 12 evaluations. Singh alleged the change may have favored a particular vendor and linked it to concerns over scanning quality, missing pages, and evaluation discrepancies reported by students. The issue has gained prominence amid an ongoing inquiry into the OSM procurement process and broader scrutiny of its rollout.
