NCERT is facing criticism after failing to provide revised Class 9 Hindi medium Mathematics and Science textbooks, even in PDF format, nearly two months into the academic session. Teachers say the delay has disrupted classes, forced translation-based teaching and created confusion over syllabus changes. Students entering summer vacation from May 23, 2026 remain without essential study material ahead of July unit tests and September half-yearly exams. Teachers and parents have questioned NCERT’s preparedness and treatment of Hindi medium students.
