The Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear a plea seeking a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination, keeping the pen-and-paper mode unchanged. The petition, filed amid the paper leak controversy, argued that digital testing would strengthen security. Meanwhile, separate petitions seeking reforms in the National Testing Agency and examination system remain under the court’s consideration.
