The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has deferred the introduction of computer-based testing for Group C recruitment exams until July 2027 after widespread protests by aspirants. The 2026 preliminary examination will now be held in offline OMR mode, with revised exam dates and extended application deadlines, offering candidates additional time and addressing concerns over digital infrastructure and transparency.
